March 26 - Fake Camping
OK, so the weather is too rainy for real camping, but some people have a bad case of cabin fever! It is Spring Break, after all. So they headed up to Deming Creek and had some smores.

March 17 - Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

March 15 - Good Day For a Hike

Rick and Grace took the dogs to one of the coolest spots...a little canyon by Fishhole Creek. Grace look very casual lounging on the rocks.

March 9 - Spring Training
Quentin organized two days worth of baseball games. The town softball field has been turned into a cow pasture but we didn't let that stop us. Quentin and Alex picked the teams and we played for hours. Turns out the moms were sore for days! Grace is a great first baseman.

March 8 - Resolution: Buy Fresh Flowers

March 2 - So cold!
We went back to the beach one more time but we couldn't take it. We were immediately drenched and freezing! We had just enough stamina for a couple of pictures and then we headed home.

March 1 - On to the Coast!
Since we were so close we headed over to Chris and Jen's house in Lincoln City for a visit. It was a very relaxing weekend. Grace, Rick and Hope headed to the beach at 6:00am to look for glass floats - they got the best weather of the whole trip but did not find any treasures. We had a lot of time to be silly and shop for taffy.

February 28 - Road Trip
Bonanza had to travel for the first round of the state tournament. Faith and Hope left with the team and Grace, Rick, Penny and I followed the morning of the big game. We stopped for lunch in Eugene and had "The Hammer", our favorite pizza at Track Town Pizza. Shredded linguica and pepperoncini!! Western Mennonite is located about 20 minutes west of Salem. We got up there pretty early so we stopped a little park to let Penny run around.

Penny traveled much better than we expected and might even get to go again.

The game was a bust! We got stomped. I took this goofy picture of Faith before the game started and it sums it up. Faith played really hard, but she was totally out-sized!

February 22 - What does the Fox say?

I made this hat special for Keegan's third birthday at the request of her mom. I love her smile and her dirty face so much. Then, because they were so cute, I had to make a bear one also.

February 22 - Bonanza Beats Gold Beach!

After a hard-fought battle, Bonanza beat Gold Beach by one point! This game was crazy. Faith fell and I thought she hit her head...I was scared to death! Bonanza held off a late rally and it was almost too exciting. This is Faith and Sylvia's victory hug. I have watched them do this many times and it makes my heart happy every time. ON TO STATE!

February 9 - Catechism

I feel very blessed that the girls take their faith seriously and head down to the hall for catechism. This is an easy year - but next year Grace will be studying for Confirmation.

February 8 - Grace plays ball!!

Grace played a lot of basketball! First the AAU season and then the Y-Ball season. This is from the last Y-Ball game. I loved that Mr. Viera was her coach. He was my basketball coach in the 7th grade and later again in high school. Grace had a great season. It was the first time she played since the first grade and she did really well!

February 7 - Spirit Week - Spirit Day

These two are super stoked for Spirit Day! Go Antlers!!

February 4 - Basketball

I am really proud of Hope for trying basketball this year. After taking a couple of years off, she decided it was time to play again. Fighting knee problems, she has gotten stronger and faster. Here her team gets ready to run an inbounds play.

February 3 - Spirit Week - Nerd Day!

Faith loves her some "All-American Guy"...oops, Captain America.

January 23 - Winter Formal

Oh, my pretty girls! Much to my surprise, t was way pretty easy to send Hope off to her first Winter Formal...probably because big sister Faith was walking her in!!

January 18 - Toothless

Alice called and said, "Aunt Harmony, can I spend the night with you?" I can't tell this girl no. Toothless and with a stack of books we had to read, Alice came over with Brandon and Alexa. Thankfully, Uncle Rick decided to sleep on the couch.

January 1 - New Year with Sherlock

She is supposed to be looking terrified...that backfired. I guess it's hard to look scared when you feel so silly. Happy New Year!! We are awaiting the return of the BBC's series "Sherlock" and decided to watch reruns on Netflix.
