Ah, the day the kings visit and bring gifts. To our surprise, friends from church invited us to a feast at their home. Our friends are from Mexico and they wanted to share in the much larger celebration of The Epiphany that they are used to. The girls and I were treated to barbecued lamb, rice and the most delicious soup. Thankfully, in my slice of sweet bread there was no toy baby. The world will be spared of any tamale-making endeavors from me!
